Story Line:
MMA fighter Cole Young (Lewis Tan), who often takes a beating for money, is unaware of his legacy — or why Outworld Governor Shang Tsung (**** Han) sent his leading hero, Sub-Zero (Joe Taslim), The otherworldly cryomancer, hunting down Cole. Fearing for her family's safety, Cole goes in search of Sonya Blade (Jessica McNamee) at the behest of Jax (Mehcad Brooks), a Special Forces Major who carries the same unknown dragon that marks Cole's birthright. Soon, he finds himself in the temple of King Raiden (Tadanobu Asano), the Ancient God and protector of Earthrealm, who offers a sanctuary for those who have the mark.
Here, Cole trains with experienced warriors Liu Kang (Ludi Lin), Kung Lao (Max Huang) and mercenary Kano (Josh Lawson), as he prepares to stand with the world's greatest heroes fighting the enemies of the Outworld in a vast universe battle. But will Cole be pressured hard enough to open his arcana - the great power that comes from within his soul - for the last time not only to his family but also to establish Outworld permanently?
